Margo’s strategic expertise, analytical and communications experience as a serial entrepreneur in education, consumer, business-to-business, and non-profit organizations are proven by remarkable results. Her diverse background led to the launch of Powerminds, powered by the Credential Registry, that uses competency mapping to connect potential employees and industry. Powerminds is a data, workforce education, and communications consultancy providing project management, professional development, marketing communications, and proprietary ProSearchTM research to bridge higher education and industry.
Prior to launching Powerminds, Margo served as the Statewide Director of Communications for the California Community College’s Vice Chancellor’s Office. In that role, she developed results-oriented initiatives for the Doing What Matters for Jobs and the Economy framework, the Strong Workforce Program, and many other activities. Before that, Margo co-founded KI Investment Holdings, LLC, an investment firm supplying capital and expertise towards the goal of being instrumental in the long-term success with an investment portfolio while creating middle-class careers.
Margo received her bachelor’s of science in business and marketing from the University of Southern California, is appointed to the National Small Business Association Executive Leadership Council,and holds Emeritus status with the California Community Colleges Chancellors Office.

Dr. Renah Wolzinger is a national leader providing creative and technical solutions in Credentialing, Competencies and Pathways. She is a national expert on data systems, career education, pathways and credential systems with extensive experience in industry, higher education, teaching and leading projects for Community Colleges and Industry Clients. She is also a frequent keynote speaker and a professional musician.
Dr. Kelly Cooper initiates, drives and implements higher ed and corporate strategies and priorities. Kelly has a deep technical knowledge in coding and data science. She has held key positions in community colleges including C-level leadership. She is passionate about combining technology, education, and industry to add transparency between these worlds in order to reduce the skills gap and provide solutions between education and employers.
Sable Cantus, CISSP
Sr. Technology Consultant
Sable Cantus expert IT technician, instructor, technical trainer, musician, podcaster, and coffee lover; has been problem solving, and implementing technology solutions in higher education since 2005. After completing his M.A. at CSULA, Sable has worked with statewide committees in both the CSU and Community College systems on projects ranging from network infrastructure, to distance learning, and the Strong Workforce project.
Sable’s colleagues have said, “he’s got a solution for every problem.” Sable is able to creatively tackle tough business problems in departments such as CalWORKs, EOP&S, and IT.
In the classroom, students describe him as “open, innovative, and able to make the material relatable.” On a project team, Sable is known for meeting deadlines and clearly communicating with stakeholder and team-members.
Sable has worked with a non-profit, Writegirl, managing donor, mentee, and volunteer data since 2005.
Sable Cantus served honorably in the U.S. Army.
